Presentation
The CCLO is Institut Foton’s research technology platform dedicated to the manufacture and physical characterization of integrated optical devices in the optical source and sensor application sectors.
The activities of the CCLO platform, carried out in clean rooms, focus on the implementation of silicon-based integrated optical devices based on specific materials such as porous silicon, porous silica, chalcogenide glass, germanium, polymers, etc. The integrated devices manufactured by the platform are state-of-the-art in the societal fields of optical communication, health and the environment, in both the NIR and MIR spectral ranges.
The CCLO is involved in a number of local (Lannion), regional and national cooperative projects run by researchers in the Institut Foton’s OGC (Guided Optics and Sensors) group.
The FP offers services to both academic and industrial partners.
